A California native, I currently attend UC Berkeley where I am pursuing dual degrees in political science and media studies. A bit about myself: I geek out over the intersection of pop culture and politics, spend most of my waking hours scrolling through a newsfeed and in my free time you can find me backpacking in the Sierra Nevadas. I am currently a member of The Daily Californian’s editorial board and have also interned for CNN’s Social Discovery team in Atlanta, NBC-Universal’s E! News in LA and public affairs firm in San Francisco. I am passionate about political efficacy, citizen journalism and holding politicians accountable for their actions.
